Preschool roundup
For the final few weeks of the academic year, the children will be learning about people who help us. We shall have some very special visitors coming in to speak to the children (as long as they’re not called away).
Please remember in this mini heatwave to bring in a labelled sunhat and to put sun cream on your child before their session. We have water available all day on the water tray alongside their bottles.
A big Preschool Farewell…
We will be really sad to see our school leavers go this month and prepare for their next big adventure at school. Most of the transitions take place next week, so we all hope you enjoy the visit with your mummies and daddies and really get to explore the classrooms and meeting the teachers; we can’t wait to hear all about it.
To say farewell, we will be holding a massive teddy bears’ picnic on the playing field on Monday 16th July at 11.30am – 1pm. Can all parents please bring along a picnic blanket and of course their child’s favourite bear. I shall be placing a food list up in the foyer for all parents to place their name against an item they can bring in for the party.
*If this is not your child’s normal session, you may accompany them to the party.
Village Fete
Saturday 7th July is the Village Fete. If you have any unwanted or outgrown toys that are in good condition then please bring them into the preschool, so we may collect items for our stall. We shall be running a tombola and hope to raise much needed funds for the setting.

As a setting we have decided that at the end of every half term and term we shall be closing at 12pm to allow the staff valuable time for staff meetings/training to take place.

Fundraiser
Please remember we are a charity run provision and need all our fundraisers to be successful to keep running. From September we shall be holding exciting fundraisers to raise money for the playgroup, so watch this space.
