Founded in 1969, Buckden Preschool is a friendly preschool in the heart of a historic village. It's a registered charity and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Easily accessible from the A1, it's ideally located for children not only from Buckden but the surrounding villages too, and offers ample parking.

Our Aims

We aim to provide an enabling environment which encourages every child to be confident, capable learners fostered by secure and respectful relationships where they can grow, learn and flourish.

Fees & Admissions

Our fee is a very competitive £5.25 an hour.
We welcome children from their second birthday until they start school. While many of our children come from Buckden and go on to Buckden Primary School, we welcome a significant number who live in nearby towns and villages.

June 2022 News

As the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee fell in half-term, we got our celebrations underway early. The children decorated their crowns with ‘gems’ and sequins and helped staff make Preschool look festive, with bunting and flags. We Read more…
